Dennis Haskins exhibit opens at UTC Library

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) – America’s favorite principal celebrated a big honor Monday.

The Dennis Haskins exhibit opened at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga library.

The exhibit features memorabilia, including every script, from his days playing principal “Mr. Belding” on Disney show Good Morning Miss Bliss and then NBC’s Saved by the Bell.

Haskins credits much of his success to UTC. He explained, “I love this city and university means a lot to me. I did a lot outside the classroom from our improv troupe, to entertainment chair of the school, but all of that starting with being on entertainment committees and people say you want to try more? We’ll give you more. I just ran into a group of people that may be incoming freshman and they said what did you love most about the school? And I said the people.”

The Dennis Haskins exhibit is open to the public.

It’s located on the fourth floor of the new UTC library.
