CFC Blast Georgia Revolution 7-0 in Regular Season Home Finale

Chattanooga-(WDEF) The CFC stayed alive for the playoffs with a dominating 7-0 win over Georgia Revolution in their
regular season home finale on Tuesday at Finley Stadium.
The game was delayed nearly thirty minutes for weather, but that didn’t slow down the CFC.
John Carrier scored in the first minute to make it 1-0.
Both teams endured another 30-minute weather delay near the nine minute mark.
When play resumed, Chattanooga punched in another goal.
Off a penalty kick, Jose ‘Zeca’ Ferraz scored on a header to make it 2-0.
Moments later and Georgia Revolution’s Marcelle Francois received a red card for putting his hands around the throat
of CFC player Felipe Olivera.
Francois was thus ejected and Georgia Revolution played a man down the rest of the way.
That made it easy for the CFC.
Leo DeSmedt scored two more goals in the first half while Matt Aldred added another.
Chattanooga led 5-0 at halftime on their way to the 7-0 victory.
