Fire damages duplex in Chattanooga
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) — The Chattanooga Fire Department was called to a duplex fire Saturday evening around 5:30 p.m. on Arlington Avenue.
Fire officials say five fire companies responded.
According to Captain Randy Steele, smoke and flames were visible from one side of the duplex.
Captain Steele says the fire was in the living room and spreading into the kitchen.
The Chattanooga Fire Department says firefighters extinguished the fire within minutes.

Fire officials say the cause of the fire is under investigation, and damages are estimated to be $30,000.
