Chattanooga Police looking for a former cab possibly used in a drive by shooting

CHATTANOOGA (WDEF) – Chattanooga Police identify a suspect vehicle that should be easy to recognize.

It is linked to the Sunday evening shooting on Dodds Avenue that injured two people.

The victims were in a car that was shot out by someone in another passing vehicle.

Now police are looking for a Mercury Cab minivan with the number 243 on it.

It was bought by a former Mercury Cab employee.

The company logo has been taken off the door but the number 243 remains.

And it still has a working cab light on the roof.
