Troopers looking for driver of stolen car involved in interstate pileup this morning
RINGGOLD, Georgia (WDEF) The Georgia State Patrol is looking for the driver of a car that caused a 5 vehicle crash on I-75 north at the state line this morning.
Early reports indicate that the driver of a white mercury collided with a tractor trailer rig near the Cloud Springs road exit.
That resulted in three more vehicles crashing into the wreck.
The Georgia State Patrol in Dalton says the White Mercury was reported stolen from Soddy-Daisy and they are looking for a black female, about 5’7 who walked away from the wreck.
No injuries were reported, but northbound traffic was detoured to Mack Smith road and into East Ridge for 2 hours while the wreck was cleaned up.
