Chattanooga Police investigate fatal shooting

CHATTANOOGA (WDEF) – The Violent Crimes Bureau is investigating a fatal shooting on Tunnel Boulevard Tuesday night.

It happened around 8:19 in the 2200 block of Tunnel Boulevard.

Officers found the victim lying on the ground with multiple gunshot wounds.

He was taken to the hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.

Police identify the victim as 19 year old Toriq Johnson, Jr.

They do not have any suspect information at this time.
