Walker County gets new K-9 deputy

LAFAYETTE, Georgia (WDEF) – Sheriff Steve Wilson of Walker County announced they have added a new K-9 officer to their team.

Rudie is a two year old Dutch Shepherd.

They got him with a grant to cover the costs of $15,600.

Rudie has been training with Deputy P.J. Doyle since December.

The partners finished their training in January and are now on duty.
