Additional arrests made in Bledsoe County joint homicide investigation

PIKEVILLE, Tenn. (WDEF) – Three arrests have been made in a homicide case in Bledsoe County.

The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, Bledsoe County Sheriff’s Department and the Pikeville police have arrested Nakayla Sullivan, Marcelino Leal and Keiven Lee Bundy in connection with the April death of Pikeville resident Thomas Rogers.

Rogers had been reported as a missing person before being found dead in a wooded area off Valley View Road.

TBI joined local law enforcement agencies at the request of District Attorney General J. Michael Taylor.

Sullivan is charged with one count of conspiracy to commit first degree murder.

Leal is charged with one count of first degree murder, one count of conspiracy to commit first degree murder, one count of employing firearm with intent to go armed, and one count of aggravated assault.

Bundy is charged with one count of first degree murder, one count of conspiracy to commit first degree murder, one count of employing firearm with intent to go armed, and one count of possession of a weapon by a convicted felon.

All three are being held in the Bledsoe County Jail without bond.
