Alabama man accused of posing as teenager online, luring girl to exchange nude pictures

MADISON COUNTY, Ala. (WHNT) – A Madison County man is accused of impersonating a 15-year-old boy online and exchanging nude pictures with a 13-year-old girl in California.  He was arrested for this same thing one year ago, too.

Madison County Sheriff Blake Dorning said Jody Wade Witt, 42, faces new charges of possession of child pornography.  Local deputies received information from the Santa Barbara, California Sheriff’s Office that Witt was making contact with a 13-year-old girl, claiming he was a 15-year-old boy.  The two had exchanged pictures showing personal body parts, investigators said.

Witt was arrested Tuesday, May 3 for new charges of possession of child pornography.
