All Angels adopted, Salvation Army kicking off 12 days of giving on #GivingTuesday

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) – Monday, The Salvation Army announced that all angels have been adopted from the Angel Trees set up at local malls.

The Salvation Army is kicking off “12 days of giving on #GivingTuesday.”

The Salvation Army says the angles were adopted faster than ever before.

They are encouraging shoppers who have adopted an angel to return gifts by the deadline of December 2.

On Giving Tuesday, November 27th, The Salvation Army is kicking off its 12 Days of Giving Campaign at Northgate and Hamilton Place Malls.

There will be new tags that represent a Salvation Army program that is in need of funding.

The Acropolis Grill is one organization that is planning to donate 15% of its proceeds from Tuesday’s sales to The Salvation Army.

“We are so appreciative to The Acropolis for its generosity,” says Major Mark Smith, Area Commander for The Salvation Army. “We are hoping many will go eat there to celebrate Giving Tuesday!”
