Anniston Lowe’s on lockdown over man with a gun

ANNISTON, Alabama (WDEF) – Authorities are now explaining a large police presence this afternoon at a Lowe’s store in Anniston Alabama.

Customers and employees were evacuated.

Police now say that an owner displayed a gun to cause the panic.

They say this was his last day on the job.

The man then barricaded himself inside an interior office in the building.

Police tried to talk him out of the building, but he ended of taking his own life.

No one else was injured in the situation.
