Anonymous tip leads to drug bust on Mountain Creek Road

Chattanooga, Tenn. (WDEF) — Chattanooga Police investigate a drug bust at an apartment complex in the 900 block of Mountain Creek Road.

Two males were arrested last night – 25-year-old James Kendrick and 21-year-old Allante Novene.

Police got an anonymous tip about the two suspects.

Officers say neighbors were complaining about a foul odor coming from Kendrick’s apartment.

According to the affidavit obtained by News 12, Officers arriving on scene noticed the smell of marijuana.

They seized more than 1 pound of illegal drugs.

That’s not all they found.

“The narcotics are one thing in itself the felony amount of marijuana but what’s important is that 3 firearms were taken off the streets one of them of which was confirmed stolen out of Bradley County,” says Sgt. Seth Romeo with the Chattanooga Police Department.

A third suspect is still on the loose.
