Ashley Madison Hack Includes Several Local Email Accounts
Hackers stole them from the marriage-cheating site.
And now they are popping up all over the web.
We have found addresses at TVA, Chattanooga.gov and HamiltonTN.gov.
Of course, there is no way to verify if these are accurate.
But it has forced several public entities to begin investigations.
The Electric Power Board has issued this statement after at least one company email account was listed.
"All employees are expected to use email for business purposes and exercise good judgement. We will investigate this matter and handle according to company policy."
"Per the City’s use policy (attached), HR will conduct an investigation to ascertain if, and then to what level, the use policy has been violated. HR will take appropriate actions at the conclusion of the investigation."
The city’s code of computer conduct does not specifically mention prohibit visiting social networks.
But there is a provision that reads "Any city computer/network use that is deemed inappropriate by a supervisor is also prohibited under this policy."
