ATV accident kills 8 year old Georgia boy

SONORAVILLE, Georgia (WDEF) An 8 year old boy was crushed by an ATV Sunday night in Gordon County.

It happened on a poultry farm on Old Boone Farm Road near Sonoraville.

The sheriff reports it involved a “cart-type often used on farms.”

The boy was taken to Gordon Hospital, where he later died.

“Our hearts go out to the family of this little boy in the wake of this tragedy,” said Sheriff Mitch Ralston

“We can never put the sense of loss into words, but the family and friends he leaves behind are in our thoughts and prayers.”
