Autopsy results from Rossville man’s death

Rossville, GA (WDEF) – The Walker County Sheriff’s Office released the GBI autopsy results for Torrey Creek.

It revealed Creek died from asphyxia inflicted by a choke hold and compression.

Deputies came to a home on Orchard Avenue Tuesday night for a domestic dispute.

Creek and another man were both taken to the hospital, but Creek died after he arrived.

Officials say the preliminary findings reveal the mediator intervened in a domestic altercation and used force in defense of a third party and self.

No one has been charged in this case.
