Blood drive in honor of former Fellowship of Christian Peace Officers Executive Director
Chattanooga, TN (WDEF) – There’s a blood drive coming up on Monday, June 29th in honor of the former Fellowship of Christian Peace Officers Executive Director Lamar Moore.
It’s co-sponsored by the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office and the Chattanooga Police Department.
It’s also part of Blood Assurance’s Hero Week.
Moore was a long time Blood Assurance donor and supporter.
Blood Assurance officials say he
donated an average of 24 times a year with more than 50 gallons of blood given during his lifetime! The blood drive will be in front of the Courts Building on 600 Market Street from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Blood Mobile.You’ll get a free snack, T-shirt, and a chance to win a new gas grille for donating.
If you can’t make it then, you can donate in Moore’s name any time during that week at Blood Assurance.
