Bobby Stone’s Domestic Assault Case Dismissed

CHATTANOOGA (WDEF) – Hamilton County Judge Lila Statom dismissed the domestic assault case against Bobby Stone.
This all stems from an incident back in May between Bobby and Lacie Stone, who is Mayor Andy Berke’s senior adviser.

District Attorney Neal Pinkston requested that the case be dismissed.

News 12 obtained a copy of that motion which states there were quote “major and minor” inconsistencies in Lacie Stone’s statements to law enforcement after the alleged domestic assault incident.

It also states quote, “Lacie Stone’s inconsistent statements alone did not provide enough cause for an arrest” of Bobby Stone.

Another key fact from the statement, Bobby Stone was never read his constitutional rights by the Special Victims Unit during an audio interview.

After reviewing this motion Judge Statom agreed Bobby Stone be dismissed of the charges.
“I’ve read your memorandum and I’ll grant your motion to dismiss”, said Judge Statom.

Bobby Stone once again came out firing against the mayor and his staff.

“First I want to thank Neal Pinkston and the District Attorney’s office as well as my excellent council Lee Davis for setting right a substantial injustice. The fact is that Mayor Andy Berke had an inappropriate relationship with my wife. And he and his staff conspired with Chief Fred Fletcher to have me falsely arrested so they could cover that fact up”, said Bobby Stone.
