Body Found In Creek in Cleveland
CLEVELAND, Tenn. (WDEF)- Cleveland police are investigating the death of a man after his body was found in a creek.
The call was received around 11:45 this morning.
That’s after two Cleveland utility workers made the discovery.
Investigators found identification on the decomposed body.
And say they think it had been in the creek for some time.
Sgt. Eve West commented, “We responded to the scene here and discovered a white male that was in the creek. We’ve since taken him out of there and he is in the custody of the medical examiner’s office.”
The body will be sent to Knoxville for an autopsy.
The police department will release the name of the man as soon as his family is notified.
