Bradley Co. Sheriff holds “Coats for the Cold” drive
Cleveland, Tenn. (WDEF) — With temperatures expected to drop later this week and their coat supplies running low the Bradley County Sheriff’s office got out today to collect more.
They started their 16th annual “Coats for the Cold” drive today.
The Sheriff was at the Chick-fil-a in Cleveland today from 11am to 2pm collecting hundreds of coats.
Over the past 16 years, they have collected more than 10,000 coats.
“If we can just help the unfortunate kids, you know, kids can’t really take care of there self. And it is up to parents and grandparents a lot of times to take care of kids. But we live in a time where some parents don’t really love their kids like they should and its the truth,” says Sheriff Eric Watson.
If you missed them today and still want to donate a coat, you can drop them off at any BB&T bank, Logan Thompson law firm or the Bradley County Sheriff’s Office.
