Bradley County Corrections Officer facing sexual assault charge, held on No Bond

BRADLEY COUNTY, Tenn. (WDEF) – A Bradley County corrections officer is behind bars, being held without bond in isolation at the Bradley County Jail.

Cody Carrington is charged with Aggravated Domestic Assault, Sexual Assault, and Interfering with an Emergency Call.

The arrest report says that a deputy responded to Carrington’s home, where they found his wife crying at the door.

Officials say the wife told them that he had assaulted her after finding a text message on her phone from another man.

The report says that his wife told them that he choked her and tried to sexually assault her, while calling her a “whore.”

They also say that Carrington took all the phones in the home so that his wife couldn’t call 911.

The couple had not been living together due to marital issues.

Carrington will be arraigned Monday at 9am.

Carrington was hired in January of 2017.
