Bradley County Sheriff Trial Delayed

CLEVELAND, Tenn. (WDEF) – The Bradley County Sheriff will have to wait a little longer to face a judge, after being accused of using altered, forged or falsified vehicle titles.

Sheriff Eric Watson’s trial had been scheduled to begin on November 27th, but Special Judge Don Ash says he wants to further examine the constitutional arguments filed by Watson’s attorney.

Attorney Jim Logan claims the statutes are vague and unconstitutional.

The 12 counts were returned by a Bradley County Grand Jury in September.
