Authorities investigate shooting of a Bradley County deputy’s wife
UPDATE: TBI agents now say they were called to investigate a self-inflicted shooting in Cleveland this morning.
The victim was 45 year old Deanna O’Daniel, the wife of a Bradley County deputy.
TBI officials confirm that she died at the hospital shortly after the incident around 8:20 AM.
Agents continue to gather information on the case.
And they are waiting the results of an autopsy.
CLEVELAND, Tennessee (WDEF) – Detectives are on the scene of a shooting this morning in the Whisperwood neighborhood near the Cleveland Airport.
Dispatchers got a call to respond to a shooting at 8:22 AM.
They are not offering any more details at this point.
But they have notified the 10th Judicial District Attorney’s Office.
And the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation is enroute to handle the case.

At the request of 10th District Attorney General Stephen Crump, TBI Agents are investigating a reported shooting in the 700 block of Old Tasso Place NE in Cleveland, Tennessee. Agents will gather any and all relevant information, evidence, and interviews and forward those, when available, to the District Attorney General’s office for further review.
