Brother saves sister in Harrison fire Tuesday morning

HARRISON (WDEF) – A woman says her brother saved her life this morning during a fire in the Harrison area.

It happened at a family compound on Massengale Hollow Road near Highway 58.

Tanya Smith thinks the fire started under her bed in the camper she was living in.

Her brother rushed in from another home nearby to get her out in time.

In all, two trailers and several vehicles burned in the electrical fire.
