C.J. Board Shines at Mocs Pro Day Along With Corey Levin and Keionta Davis

Chattanooga-(WDEF) Former Mocs defensive end Keionta Davis is a big man who can run, which is what NFL teams are looking for.
The 268-pound Davis ran a sub 4.8 forty for NFL scouts during the Mocs Pro Day at Finley Stadium.
Said Davis:”I didn’t think I was going to run this fast. I heard some crazy times. I (vertically) jumped a 37 (feet), which is really good. I (broad) jumped a ten (feet), which is really good.
Given Davis’ speed and size, he’ll likely get drafted, but he can’t worry about that right now.
Said Davis:”I mean I look every now and then. I peek and look at what round will I go in.
Hey, it is what it is. I’m just happy to be here.”
Former Mocs offensive lineman Corey Levin was also happy with his Pro Day.
He didn’t run the forty, but he did several other drills.
Levin has also been learning a new position.
Said Levin:”Well I really worked on snapping the ball and playing center. I’ve had a few team workouts. I talked to the coaches. They were testing me on my IQ. Seeing if I could make line calls, and call a defense from the center position.”
Former UTC receiver C.J. Board may have created the biggest buzz following his forty yard dash.
Reporter:”What were some of the forty times they were telling you.”
Said Board:”I think the best one was around a 4.38 or 4.36. Range from that to a low 4.4, so I think it was a good day.”
Said Levin:”We all knew C.J. was going to come out here and do great. He has always jumped high. He has always run fast. He has always been a freak athlete. I’m really proud of him for the day he had today.”
Several scouts were eager to see Board after the Mocs Pro Day.
Said Board:”I got in contact with a lot of guys. That’s good because I really didn’t have that much contact before this. Just coming out here and showing what I’ve been working for really helped.”
