Car crashes into home in Cleveland

CLEVELAND, Tennessee (WDEF) – Cleveland Police report that a vehicle left Georgetown Road and crashed into a home.

The driver told investigators that he swerved to avoid another vehicle coming at him.

His jeep plowed through five front yards before striking the home.

It hit the corner of the house at the garage and damaged the exterior.

Police gave the driver a field sobriety test, which he passed.

He was treated for minor injuries.

No one else was hurt.
