Car flips into small pond in McDonald
MCDONALD, Tennessee (WDEF) – A car travelling on Lee Highway Monday evening flipped into a small pond.
It happened in the McDonald community at White Oak Valley Circle near the Bradley County line around 7:30.
Tri-Community volunteers found the car on its roof next to Lee Highway.
the driver had managed to get himself out of it by they time they got there.
They pulled the driver up the embankment in a rescue basket and sent the person to the hospital.
The car managed to damage a power poll in the wreck.
So while the road is open again, utility work will continue at the scene.
