Car wrecks while being chased by deputies

CLEVELAND, Tennessee (WDEF) – A car chase in southern Bradley county resulted in a crash this afternoon and injured two people.

The Tennessee Highway says Bradley county officers were attempting to stop a 2006 Honda driven by 59 year old Steven M. Smith of Rocky Face.

He was traveling North on Dalton Pike when his car struck a 2012 Ford driven by 63 year old Ann Tate of Varnell.

Both were flown to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
