Carjacking pursuit ends in crash

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) – Two people are behind bars after a carjacking and police pursuit down I-75 in Chattanooga.

Chattanooga police say Anthony Duckett and Emily Baggett were arrested as the primary suspects in today’s events.

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) – Chattanooga police were called to a carjacking Wednesday that occurred on Brainerd Road.

Patrol in the area observed the vehicle fleeing the scene, and initiated a pursuit of that vehicle.

The pursuit ended on 75 Northbound at the Shallowford Road exit where it was involved in a vehicle crash.

Both suspects have been taken into custody.

There are two victims in the other car which the suspects hit who are suffering from minor injuries.
