CARTA Introduces New Route 25: Enterprise South / Amnicola Highway Effective May 10

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. — The Chattanooga Area Regional Transportation Authority (CARTA) has said they are launching a new route effective Sunday, May 10, 2026: Route 25: Enterprise South / Amnicola Highway.

Route 25 will operate Monday through Friday from 4:50 a.m. to 8:05 p.m., with buses arriving every 50 minutes. There will be no fixed-route service on Saturdays or Sundays.

“This route adjustment allows CARTA to simplify service while maintaining access to the key destinations our riders depend on. By combining these two routes into one, we are improving reliability and making the system easier to navigate.”

– CARTA’s Director of Planning and Quality, Doug Carlson said.

For riders traveling to Enterprise South on Saturdays, service will continue to be available through CARTA GO, CARTA’s on-demand transit option.

CARTA says this new route combines the current Route 3 (Enterprise South) and Route 28 (Amnicola Highway) services into one streamlined route.
