Catoosa inmate walks away from work crew

RINGGOLD, Georgia (WDEF) – Catoosa County authorities are looking for 22 year old David Matthew Faulkner.

He was an inmate who walked away from a landscaping work details at the jail on Tuesday.

Sheriff Gary Sisk describes Faulkner as six feet, two inches tall, weighs about 145 pounds.

He was wearing an orange jail uniform, before taking off the shirt and hiding in the woods.

The Sheriff says Faulkner has a criminal history in Catoosa, Walker and Murray counties, but is considered non-violent.

“Faulkner was being held for violating the terms of his probation for driving on a suspended
license and was scheduled to be released on April 18,” Sheriff Sisk said. “Unfortunately, his
choice to leave will result in him being charged with escape, that could carry a five-year
sentence.”

If you have information on where he might be, please call the Catoosa County Sheriff’s
Office at (706) 935-2323.
