CCS Beats Sequatchie Co 7-0 For District 7-AA Tournament Title

Chattanooga-(WDEF) The CCS softball team beat Sequatchie Co 7-0 on Wednesday night at Chattanooga Christian to claim the District 7-AA
tournament title.
Chattanooga Christian was clinging to a 1-0 lead in the top of the 5th when the Indians loaded the bases with two outs, but Chargers
pitcher Madison Hollis got the strikeout to end the inning.
CCS then got a run in the bottom of the fifth, and they exploded for five runs in the bottom of the sixth.
Hollis got the scoring started in the sixth inning with a single into left field to score Madison Vandergriff to make it 3-0.
Later in the inning with the score 5-0, Sydney Emerson singled past short, allowing Lauren Kay and Madison Blevins to deliver the final two runs of the game.
