Central High School Students’ Donation To Soldier’s Best Friend

Chattanooga, TN (WDEF) Some area students raised money to help soldiers with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.

Central High School students presented the check for $2500 to the Soldier’s Best Friend organization.

It pairs service dogs with veterans to help them with PTSD.

Teacher Lauren Thomas says, "For my kids to see that we were able to reach our goal, and that working together we could get something done for someone other than ourselves."

The money they raised will help train one service dog for a veteran.
