UPDATE: CFC “Road” Game With Atlanta Silverbacks Moved to Dalton

Chattanooga-(WDEF-TV) UPDATE: Wednesday’s CFC match against the Atlanta Silverbacks has been moved from Chattanooga Christian School to Christian Heritage High School in Dalton. Game time is 7:30pm. All tickets purchased for the match at CCS will be honored in Dalton. For those who bought a ticket and can’t make the trip to Dalton, those tickets can be exchanged for a future regular season CFC home match.

The CFC beat the Atlanta Silverbacks 4-1 last Wednesday here in Chattanooga at Finley Stadium. And now they get to face Atlanta in Chattanooga again this Wednesday night. The two clubs will face off at 7:30 at Chattanooga Christian. It’ll actually be a home game for Atlanta. They had to move the contest after a venue conflict in the ATL. So why not just play at Fort Finley, if you’re going to be here in the Scenic City. Said CFC head coach Bill Elliott:”So I think that a lot of our opponents don’t like to play in Finley. So for probably obvious reasons, I think it was agreed on a more neutral site, even though obviously we’re still in Chattanooga. But I think they view this as probably a little more neutral site than Finley.” Since this is considered a road game for Chattanooga, no CFC season ticket passes will be honored.
