Chatt State and WGU Tennessee re-affirm articulation agreement

Chattanooga, TN (WDEF) – Chattanooga State Community College re-affirmed its articulation agreement with Western Governors University Friday.
It allows graduates, faculty, and staff to further their educations through the nonprofit online university.
The two schools signed a pact in August of 2013 to allow the seamless transfer of credits from Chatt State to W.G.U.
Kimberly Estep serves as Chancellor at W.G.U. She said, “We really are designed for working adults because it’s all online. Faculty call their students every week, so they can get that support that they need without having to come to campus, without having to park. Because they are balancing and in many cases, family, jobs and community service. And they need a way to fit education in their already busy lives.”
The pact covers students in primary and secondary education, information technology, business, and nursing.
