Chattanooga 2.0 celebrates two years of accomplishments
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF)– An organization with the mission of improving public education celebrated their first two years of accomplishments.
Tuesday morning, people attended Chattanooga 2.0’s annual summer event for an overview and panel discussion at UTC. They celebrated their accomplishments the past year and set their vision for the coming year.
The organization works on educational initiatives from cradle through career.
There were panel discussions that represented their three areas of work, which are early childhood, K-12, and post secondary.
“Each of the panels have really focused on our four A’s which are the theme for today. We are focusing on aligning our priorities, accelerating our strategies, amplifying our message and really staying agile in our innovation,” said Robin Cayce, director of programs at Chattanooga 2.0.
Chattanooga 2.0’s steering committee is made up of 52 community and education leaders.
