Chattanooga Boys Choir to debut a locally composed song at their spring concert

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) – The Chattanooga Boys Choir is raising their voices one last time for the season with their spring concert Finale!

Over 100+ choir members will be blessing the First Baptist Church with their angelic voices with songs from an array of musical genres such as bluegrass, classical, gospel, and traditional folk songs from other countries.

Additionally, the concert will be the premiere of the song “I Want to Go Home” which is written by local composer Michael Huseman. The song is in the point of view of a child after being forced to flee the Russia-Ukraine War.

The free to attend concert will be on Thursday, April 30 at 7 PM at First Baptist Church on 401 Gateway Avenue. Donations to support the Chattanooga Boys Choir is encouraged.

Looking ahead in the future, the Chattanooga Boys Choir is proud to announce that over 30 of their students will be going to Costa Rica in the summer to represent the US in the International Choir Festival for Peace.
