Chattanooga Church Collects Money for Bike Drive

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) — A local church is collecting money to buy hundreds of bikes for children in need this Christmas.

Despite the frigid temperatures, Pastor Wesley Odum spent hours at the Hamilton Place Wal-Mart for a 36-hour bike drive.

So far, the Dynamic Church raised enough money to buy 480 bikes for the Salvation Army’s Angel Tree campaign.

This is the 5th year the church has partnered with the non-profit.

Each bike cost $50, but you can donate any amount to help.

Monetary donations are still being accepted until Sunday night at lovegiveswheels.com.
