Chattanooga PD makes arrest in connection to fatal shooting

Chattanooga, Tenn. (WDEF) – In coordination with US Marshals and the Catoosa County Fugitive Unit, the Chattanooga Police Fugitive Unit arrested a suspect in the fatal shooting of Orlandas Gay.

Gay was shot multiple times at the 4900 block of Jeffery Lane on May 10.

He was rushed to a local hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries.

Chattanooga Police arrested Tavoraus Sanchez Thompson, 24, for the murder of Orlandas Gay.

Police also arrested Thompson’s brother Judius Thompson and charged him with Criminal Responsibility for Facilitation of a Felony.
