Chattanooga Police arrest Cowart Street shots fired suspect

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) — Chattanooga Police arrest a shots fired suspect from a February incident.

18-year-old Brandon Rogers faces a reckless endangerment charge.

Investigators believe he was involved in a shots fired case that happened on Cowart Street in February.

Evidence collected at the scene and statements made by witnesses were turned over to the Chattanooga Police Department’s Gun Team.

Last week, investigators from the department’s Gang Unit initiated a traffic stop on Chateau Lane, involving Rogers. They found a firearm during that stop.

After reviewing evidence from both the initial incident and the subsequent traffic stop, police got a warrant for Rogers.
