Chattanooga police investigating shooting on West MLK Boulevard
Chattanooga Police are investigating a shooting incident that left one man wounded.
It happened Tuesday at around 2:15 p.m. in the 500 block of West MLK Boulevard.
Authorities say they arrived at that location on a report of a person shot, but were unable to locate a crime scene.
They were then told a 31-year-old man had arrived at a local hospital in a personal vehicle.
Investigators say the victim said he was walking in the area when he heard gunshots and realized he’d been struck.
The victim’s wounds are said to be non-life threatening.
