Chattanooga Police search for pickpocketing suspect

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF)– Chattanooga Police are investigating, after a man pickpocketed an iPhone from an unsuspecting woman.

According to investigators, it happened Saturday around 5:45 p.m. at the Kanku’s on Central Avenue.

Seth Joyce sent us more videos from the store on Monday, showing that the suspect spent a lot of time stalking his victim.

Now, in our edit of the videos, you see him get out of the car and follow her in.  He shadows her around the store and even made one trial attempt at the phone near the cooler. And we include a new angle of the actual pickpocketing from behind the clerk.

Joyce tells us they have gotten several tips since the original video was posted.

The suspect is a man with long blonde hair and some facial scruff.  At the time of the incident he was wearing camouflage pants, a dark colored shirt, and a dark colored baseball cap turned backwards.

If you can identify him or know where he is, contact Chattanooga Police.
