Chattanooga Red Wolves Announce TransCard as New Team Sponsor

Chattanooga, TN (WDEF-TV) If you watch major league soccer, all the teams wear a company logo on their jerseys. Now the Chattanooga Red Wolves pro soccer team has found a company brand for their uniforms, as they prepare for their inaugural season in the Scenic City in 2019.

The Chattanooga Red Wolves have the merchandise.
The stadium plans.
The players.
Now they have a team sponsor in TransCard.
Said TransCard president Chris Fuller:”TransCard is a payment processing platform. The opportunity to work with Chattanooga Red Wolves and again to showcase the technology.”
Said Red Wolves General Manager Sean McDaniel:”Yeah I think what we are most excited about particularly with TransCard is the ability to leverage their technology as we go into our new stadium.”
State of the art technology may sell the fans, but it’s coach Tim Hankinson that’s selling the players on coming to a brand new franchise.
Said Red Wolves player Colin Falvey:”He has been very, very successful wherever he has gone. I mean obviously you have concerns when you are going to a brand new club that has just opened, but it’s very comforting knowing that he has done this in the past.”
We saw Atlanta win the MLS title last weekend, and Falvey says that can only benefit Chattanooga pro soccer.
Said Falvey:”You look at Atlanta United and you have 78,000. Like a lot of people wouldn’t have thought about that. They wouldn’t have thought that was a possibility two or three years ago. So I think this region in the U.S. is absolutely booming when it comes to soccer right now. If we can get off to a good start in year one, and progress the club where we see it and want it to be. I think it’s only going to snowball from there, and I think twelve months from now this club is going to be on the lips of every sports fan in the city.”
The Red Wolves first home match is April 6th, and their season will run through October.
Said McDaniel:”I think that’s the whole reason we launched us is to have that longer season. To have something consistent for the fans and the economy. Now we can really build off of that.”
