Chattanooga Red Wolves open play at home with win

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) — The Chattanooga Red Wolves defeated Forward Madison 1-0 for the inaugural home opener at Chattanooga Christian Saturday.

Steve Beattie set up Eamon Zayed for the first home goal of the season.

Eamon Zayed, “It was a great little ball over the top from Steven Beattie. One Irishman to the other like last week but this time it was me that finished it. So yeah, it was great. I mean the most important thing tonight was to get the win and get the three points. Obviously to get the first goal in the hole was a great feeling. As soon as i saw it hit the back of the net, it was just pure joy.”

Red Wolves will be back at home Saturday, April 20th against the South Georgia Tormenta. Game kicks off at 7 p.m.
