Chattanooga State names interim president

NASHVILLE (WDEF) – Tennessee Board of Regents Chancellor David Gregory named an interim president for Chattanooga State on Tuesday.

He chose Debbie Adams.

She is currently the vice president of student affairs and workforce development.

Adams will take over on February 1st, when Flora Tydings steps down to assume her new job of chancellor for the Board of Regents.

The Board’s next job is to set up a search committee for the permanent president.
