Chattanooga’s Holiday Starlight Parade Cancelled

Chattanooga, TN (WDEF) Chattanooga’s annual Holiday Starlight parade has been cancelled.

It’s due to a lack of funding.

It’s usually on the second Saturday of December; which would be next weekend.

It’s been around for more than 20 years, and it’s known as an evening parade that features lights as its main theme for floats or bands.

This is not the first year the downtown parade has been cancelled because of money issues.

Officials say it could come back if a sponsor is found.
