Cherokee County man arrested, accused of sexual assault

ANDREWS, N.C. (WDEF) – A Cherokee County man is accused of sexual assault of a female child.

The Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office says the assault happened on May 5th, in Andrews, North Carolina.

Investigators and child advocates presented information to a Magistrate who issued warrants for 33-year-old Ryan Alexander Hamilton.

Hamilton was arrested at his home without incident.

He’s facing charges of Sexual Battery and Assault on a Female.
