Christmas Market held at Tennessee Christian Prep

Cleveland, Tenn. (WDEF) — The Grinch isn’t stealing Christmas at one Cleveland school.

Tennessee Christian Prep held its annual Christmas Market this year, turning the school gym into Whoville.

The kids enjoyed meeting the Grinch himself, plus Santa Claus, Cindy Lou Who and Olaf the snowman.

Shoppers took advantage of 40 vendors with clothing, jewelry, and other items.

Money from the entry fee supports TCPS teachers, so they can buy items the budget doesn’t cover.

“We love our teachers. I can’t tell you how much we praise them for all that they do. I know that teachers have a hard job, so it’s a thrill to be able to do this and provide for them,” says Sommer Maynor who organized the event.

Maynor says they plan to have the Whoville Christmas Market again next year in early December.
