Circuit Court ruling permanently closes Blue Cove

McMINN COUNTY, Tenn. (WDEF) – The Blue Cove in McMinn County is closed permanently following a Circuit Court ruling.

McMinn County Sheriff Joe Guy confirmed the closure to News 12.

According to the Sheriff, anyone on the property now could face criminal charges.

Sheriff Joe Guy has been trying to get the property closed.

In an earlier interview, the sheriff told News 12, “I don’t want to be in the business of someone else’s business. But when a business has repeated calls having to do with law enforcement issues, two deaths, a report of an arson, drug trafficking, underage drinking, over and over and over for three years, I kind of have to get in it with both feet at that point.”
