Cleveland Judge Found Dead

CLEVELAND, TN (WDEF) – Cleveland City Judge Bill Moss was found dead Monday morning in a parking lot on 4th and Broad Streets.

Around eleven, Cleveland Police were called to investigate the 76-year-old’s death.

Authorities say Moss could have died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Moss was a private practice attorney since 1965, according to the Logan-Thompson Law Firm.

Moss also specialized in social security disability.

Evie West, with the Cleveland Police Department, says, "Yeah we already notified next of kin and we’ll proceed with our investigation, just trying to get as much information as we possibly can."

The medical examiner has taken the body to Knoxville for an autopsy.
