Around 11:30 Wednesday night, Cleveland Police responded to a shots fired call on Michigan Avenue. Witnesses told police that they say a black male could be seen speeding away from the scene in a orange chevy cobalt.

Evie West says, “Our intention is to prosecute the person that was responsible for this because those bullets could have gone into a home, hit an innocent person so that kind of stuff needs to be prosecuted and he needs to be charged.”

That Orange Chevy Cobalt is the only evidence that police say they have at this point. Police that the victims were not cooperative with the investigators on scene.

“There are people that know about it. Obviously the driver and the victims know who it was and then people who were around the area and there may be people who are family and friends of the suspect or even family and friends of the victims know,” West believes.

Official are hoping that someone speaks up and shares ANY thing that might lead them to the identity of the driver.

West says, “We don’t want these things to happen here in our city, we don’t want them to happen in our nation but unfortunately, they do so we are really progressive in our attempts to find out who this person is and to charge them.”
